Local hip-hop artist Shad Shizzle, real name Manqoba Shadrack Khoza is working on a lot of projects this year, and planning to release a music album and videos this year.
The eMalahleni born hit maker worked with international producers such as Ditty, and Speakerbangerz, both from the United States (US).
Shad released his debut music video titled ‘Faded’, directed by Studio Space Pictures in December.
Not forgetting that Shad was recognized by eMalahleni’s very own Emalahleni FM for his hit single ‘SLK’ which was number one on the Rhymes & Life show hip-hop Top 10 chart on the radio in 2014.
“This making me the king of local hip-hop music in 2015,” said Shad.
Manqoba Shadrack Khoza will be releasing an album soon.
The 21-year-old has opened stages for AKA, Riky Rick, Kwesta, Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, to name a few big names in the South African hip-hop scene.
He released a single titled ‘Regular’ under his label ‘Global Mafia Entertainment’ in May.
“In this single I talk about the obstacles that I faced and how I overcome critics, jealousy, and bitterness from people that look down on me,” said Shad.
Shad will be performing at the ‘All Blvk Everything’ event which will take place at the Wilge Estate on July 1.
