The Face of Emalahleni 2016 queen Ayanda Masuku is reaching out to the elderly of the city in one of her projects.

Ayanda in a ‘Get involved Project’ presented food parcels at Mthimkhulu Old Age home on Saturday, April 29.

According to the queen, her purpose is to encourage the community to give and to expose the Mthimkhulu as a non-profit organisation.

“It is important to give to organisations like Mthimkhulu credit for the great work they are doing, taking care and looking after the elderly of eMalaheni which is a great responsibility. I would like expose them to the community for the work they do and to encouraged the community to give to them, but not only to them but to other organisations doing similar work as well. Please let’s help them by extending our hands and hearts,” said Ayanda.
