Earlier this year Highveld Mall invited local fashion-, interior- end décor designers from the community to partake in Highveld Mall Christmas Décor Design competition.
The motivation behind this project is to invest in the community and create a platform for designers to showcase their talent and skill.
The challenge was to use a mannequin and a blank canvas and create a Christmas inspired design to best represent their brand in their specific field of expertise.
Highveld Mall received 25 entries and after a gruelling selection process 14 designs were selected and are currently on display in the mall.

The mall invites the public to come and view the 14 designs during the festive season and enter the design challenge SMS competition by voting for the design they admire the most.
The designs are located in the Woolwoths-, Edgars-, Pick n Pay- and Rostveld courts.
Each design has its own story.
The winning designer will walk away with R5 000 and an additional R5 000 will be donated to a charity of their choice.
Shoppers can also win R5 000 by just voting.
