Franco is chasing his dreams

Last year Franco Cillié told Witbank News that he wanted to win at Talent Africa and he did just that and a whole lot more.

This young man has a definite talent for culture and the arts, he set goals and has succeeded them, after winning Talent Africa 2016 he went to New York to compete in Talent America where he competed against the best states and surrounds has to offer.

He won the over all drama division for ages nine to 11 and took three first places, that for theatre drama, television commercial and comedy monologue – netting him four gold star awards.

“My three pieces were a gum advert, Rajah has got the ears, and an Oliver Twist piece,” he said.

Franco Cillié had the chance to ride the subway of New York.

His success didn’t stop there as after taking four gold stars he was approached by five talent agencies in the United States of America, all of which want to sign him.

“People were pretty amazed with me and I look forward to signing with an agency,” he said.

While in New York he had the chance to take in the sights and sounds and wasted no time in making his way to the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and natural history museum. He also had the pleasure of visiting M&M world and Hershey’s world, along with going to watch Broadway shows, taking yacht cruises around the city of New York and the chance to mingle with Manhattan’s people.

Franco continues to wow and woo his audiences and in doing so gets ever closer to fulfilling his dreams.

End of September marks a time of change for this young man as he will receive feedback from the agencies that wish to recruit him and who knows you could be seeing him on the big screen someday.
