Last year the first ever car sit-in was a huge success for CANSA Highveld and now several CANSA Offices around South Africa are hosting their car sit-in’s all in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa.
CANSA’s 48 hour car sit-in will be taking place in association with Highveld Mall and Eastvaal Motors / Motor City from Friday, June 24 until Sunday, June 26.
The challenge is five individuals, one car, 48 hours for one charity.
This year the “car mates” will be nestled in the all new Renault Kadjar parked in the Food Court situated in the Highveld Mall, various restaurants within Highveld Mall will be taking care of the “car mates”, four individual “Movers / Shakers” in the community or province will be identified as the 2016 car mate all to raise awareness and funds for CANSA Highveld Care Centre during the 48 hours.
However the public is invited to nominate “Jail Birds” that will be jailed at their workspace or home where upon the jailer will be escorted to Highveld Mall, jailed in the car as the fifth car mate or this jailer then needs to organise bail upon payment received the jailer will be released and the next jailer can join in the fun!
