Six year old Onthatile Matshidiso strikes a pose.

Three years later this Laerskool Panorama learner is going to be part of a MSC cruise taken in December to attend a fashion show and entertain passengers.
Her mother Thapelo describes her as a bubbly girl who always wants to be the centre of attention.

“The more people there are, the more she wants to impress. Growing up she always posed for photos and adores taking selfies” said Thapelo

One of Onthatile Matshidiso dreams is to become Miss World.

It is not a surprise as to why she begun entering beauty pageants as she gets the passion from her mother who also modelled in her younger days. Her mother decided to enrol her with “One on One Modelling school” to understand the industry better and experience her passion to the fullest.

“She loves choosing her own outfits for shows,” continues Thapelo.

Her wish list includes being Miss World, being on the cover of Vogue magazine and going to New York to model in where she aims to tick the list soon. She also aspires to be a medical doctor, which ever one comes first she will be content.

Onthatile Matshidiso knows exactly what to do in front of the camera.

Onthatile’s accolades include receiving second place and the Best Model award at the Talent Africa Regional’s competition in February. The nationals took place in Johannesburg in March where she received gold in formal wear, silver in swimwear, silver in runway and silver in the photo commercial category. The beautiful results have seen her qualify for the South African team that is going to participate at the Talent America in New York City and the MSC cruise in December. As if all this was not enough for the gorgeous beauty queen, she had to add being a great netball payer to her long resume.

“She is so fashionable and a real lady in everything she does,” concluded the proud Thapelo.
