DJ Whiskey kept the dancers on the floor during the Whatsyourflava #Fantatasteslike road show.

The show was recently held at the KG Mall.

Shoppers at the KG Mall were treated to music, dancing, information and all the excitement to go with the road show.

On the turntables DJ Whiskey manned the tables with song after song to the delight of the audience throughout the show.

The Phola born DJ kept his audience on the floor with his house music. He said the music influence started while he was still in high school. He composed and signed a record with Soul Candy Records. Two albums were produced by the DJ in 2011and another two years later (2013). He has now joined a new recording label but he is still keeping to house music.

“Piracy is killing our music, something needs to be done about it. That is why music is declining, as musicians we need to join forces to fight,” said DJ Whiskey.

He encourages future DJ’s to be themselves and not to copy other DJ’s and focus on what they are doing and education must come first. DJ Whiskey is sure that a lot of DJ’s will come out of Nkangala district.

The road show saw healthy play, fun and excitement happen across the country, making memorable play stops in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Each event included different interactive areas, representing the Fanta flavours: Grape, Orange and Pineapple, and different elements of play. For those interested in entertainment, the Fanta Grape zone is definitely for them.
