Her footsteps are internationally recognised

Six years of hard work has paid off for Nicole Geldenhuys, who placed 17th in the World Freestyle Championships.

Six years ago Nicole enrolled at Bertus Stiehler’s dance studio, Stiehler Dance and under his guiding wing her dance has taken flight, as she worked her way from beginner to champion level.

Nicole qualified as one of 20 girls from South Africa to take part in the World Freestyle Championships which were held in London, England over the month of July. She was slotted into the age group of 16 to 18 and faced off against 69 other contenders, placing 17th at the end of the championship.

This teen has big plans for her future as she takes the next step, which is another world qualifier, set to take place in Croatia in September.
“I want to thank my mom Amanda and dad Mark for all their support as well as my teacher Bertus, he is an inspiration, and to my school HTS Witbank,” said Nicole.
