Witbank4Jesus in August
Make sure you have nothing planned for the first Saturday in August, because that is when the Witbank4Jesus Festival will be taking place.
On August 2 this festival will be held at Curro Bankenveld Sports Field. The event starts at 15:00 and entrance fee is R50, but children under the age of six enter at no cost.
Retief Burger is the main attraction.
Retief is known as a gospel singer who features at the Mighty Men Conferences.
Other bands who will be performing on the day are Fourteen40, 4Kruis and also Floating Axe.
About the festival Herman Cronje one of the organizers of the event said, “We aim to reach the young and the lost in eMalahleni. There is a big drug problem and Jesus is the only way out. We want to tell everyone in the city that Jesus loves them just the way they are, but He surely doesn’t want them to stay lost and without hope.”
