The earth rattling sound competition called the Sound Off was a popular attraction for visitors as computers measured the decibels of each vehicle to accurately determine a winner. Among the various categories the Shine and Show beauty contest also attracted a lot of attention.
There were also several stalls scattered around the event park selling various things. The hot sunny day was perfect weather for the annual event. All entries from the website competition, that was open to the public, were put into a lucky draw which took place at the prize-giving at The Ridge Food Court at the end of the event.
The prizes were a set of car subwoofers and amplifier including wiring and installation worth R4 000, a car radio and speakers including installation worth R2 000, a set of car speakers including installation worth R1 000, a Max My Ride hamper and a Supersonic hamper both worth R500 each.
