Keegan was placed third at his last competition at the RFA Games in Israel, Tel Aviv

Crossfit was only a way for him to stay fit and strong for other sports especially his cycling, he loved the challenges Crossfit gave him and was hooked immediately.

Keegan Longueira took part in the First Latin American Sanctional for 2020 and did extremely well.

His performance has earned him a spot in the final of the Southfit Crossfit Challenge where he will fight to qualify for the Crossfit Games 2020.

Keegan just loves the challenges.

He said “when you get absolutely destroyed by a workout and realise how unfit you are, it can either chase you away or it can encourage you to get better as an athlete”.

His passion started when he was young – the ability to run, jump or lift is something that always fascinated him.

Keegan wants to become the best version of an athlete in this sport. For him that means maximizing his training, nutrition and recovery. He believes that it can lead him anywhere.

The CrossFit games is a golden opportunity for any athlete.

Keegan has a goal to reach the Top 500 in the Crossfit open but also states that if he keeps on being fit, healthy and enjoy what he is doing, it will always be his ultimate game.

Keegan is also the owner of a functional fitness gym that he opened on September 1 in 2017.

When asked about his future, Keegan wants to help people to reach freedom through fitness, he is planning to focus on his weaknesses in business and coaching and become a better version of himself every day.

The secret to his success is because of resilience – Keegan doesn’t believe that any success comes easy and that it takes courage to fail over and over again, learning to piece every fail into a win.
