Mpumalanga Young Eagles FC launched their sponsors from the Fortis Hotel.
The team playing in the SAB League received the sponsor from the Fortis Hotel and they celebrated on Saturday, September 7 before playing a friendly game.
Chairperson of the team Mr Vusi Maseko related how the team was started by his late son in 2016 who had a vision of taking young people away from the streets.
He encouraged the players to set goals for themselves and to dream big for the team to succeed to play in the bigger league.
Secretary of the team Ms Nonto Soko thanked Fortis Hotel for partnering with the team and the support they are giving young players.
The team coach Lisbon Sithaha in his motivation talk told the players that life is about choices and that they need to make the right choices in life.
He said they need to focus and concentrate on their studies because that will open doors for them.
“I will be happy to see you succeed in life, soccer is a very short career. You need to have good morals, respect your parents and your teachers and be a good example to young players. Avoid fun because that won’t take you anywhere. Keep it simple to succeed in life,” added the coach.
Some players were thanked for their discipline and contributing to the team’s success.
