Citylads were from a loss from Barberton City Stars FC who beat them 1-0 at Nelshoogte Sports Grounds in Barberton.

The two teams did not disappoint as they went for each other in the opening stages of the match.

It was a fast paced match with Bakone attacking and were denied two chances to register a goal.

Bakone Sibusiso Maseko also had a chance to register a goal for his team but he was denied by Citylads keeper Sabelo Chamane.

Bakone Philemon Maseko also tried but his shot just went wide.

Both teams had their fair chance to score but no team register a goal.

Citylads were awarded a place-kick after Mlamuli Thwala was pushed.

Thomas Ngobe took the kick and went over the bar.

The teams break for half time at 0-0.

In the second half with some added energy the teams continued where they left off in the first half.

Both teams made some substitutes to bring some changes but it was not to be.

Even though it is still early in the season both teams showed some good performance and a lot is expected from them.
