Boxing promoter, judge and trainer Paul ‘Sika’ Tshehla reported that Nkangala boxers are progressing well after a development programme was introduced.
Tshehla also reported that an inter-club boxing tournament will take place on Saturday, September 21, at the Lynnville Hall starting at 13:00.
The theme of the tournament is: 4th Free Palestine Boxing Tournament and will be hosted by the Embassy of the State of Palestine in solidarity with Palestine.
ABC Boxing Camp will partner with the embassy and eMalahleni Local Municipality’s DCSR.
“In the past the event has been hosted in Soweto since its inception three years ago. It’s an honour for us at ABC Boxing Camp to host an event of this magnitude. Boxing legends like former South African flyweight champion Johannes ‘Baby Joe’ Miya, former South African Super featherweight champion Ditatau ‘Diarora’ Molefyane, former South African featherweight champion Quinton Ryan and our own legend former Transvaal light weight champion and former South African super lightweight champion Lawrence ‘Super Bad’ Ngobeni has confirmed their attendance to the tournament,” said Tshehla.
