Highveld’s first team shows Matla how it’s done

Highveld controlled the game very well and made it difficult for Matla to get the ball.

After Highveld Rugby Club’s second team lost to their opponents, Emba, the first team aimed to change that. They won 59-12 when the rugby club played against Matla Rugby Club.

Tries were scored by Andrew McDiarmid, Juan Swanepoel, Theunis Botha (twice), Piet van Niekerk, Riaan du Preez, Reyno Hattingh, Phelani Ngwato and reserve Kobus Holtzhausen. Andrew McDiarmid succeeded in seven conversions.
