Hurricanes beat Matla Coal
Hurricanes have secured their place in the league finals by beating Matla Coal at Puma Stadium.
The rugby match took place on May 16 with Hurricanes winning with a score of 12-10.
It was a tough match between the two clubs.
Thulani Zulu scored the first try, followed by a successful conversion by Bertus ‘Stompie’ Fritz.
Gerrie Bogos pushed forward in the second half to crush Matla Coal’s players as he scored the winning try just before the final whistle was blown.
“We are currently fourth in the log in the Highveld Senior League,” said Bennie Bogos, team manager.
