Black Aces are very proud of Edwin Gyimah

Mpumalanga Black Aces are very proud of Edwin Gyimah on his selection for the Black Caps assault on the 2015 AFCON tournament.

The former 2013 Supersport United Player of the Year has been a pillar of strength for Aces and his selection for Ghana head coach Avram Grant’s team, is well deserved, especially after his numerous ‘man-of-match’ awards he has collected with AmaZayoni.

Grant announced a powerful 23-man squad but sadly Kwabena Adusei just missed out, having made the top 26.

The Black Caps eliminated veteran stars Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien and Prince Boateng, and Grant has sent goalkeeper Adams Stephen and midfielders Alfred Duncan (Sampdoria), Albert Adomah (Middlesbrough) and Adu Kofi (Malmo) home. Trabzonspor striker, Abdul Majeed Waris, will also miss the tournament due to injury.
