Mongezi is the champ

ABC Boxing Camp is reaping the fruit of the seed sown in 2012 from a boxing programme initiated then, with 13-years-old undefeated boxer, Mongezi Sindane.

His record of 18 fights without any defeat is a perfect record. He was awarded the Emalahleni Mayoral Award for the most improved individual sports person.

He received a trophy together with a R10 000 cheque. The awards ceremony was held on Friday, November 28.
Mongezi is a Grade 7 pupil at Thuthukani Primary School in Phola.
