Many locals took on the 94.7km ride

The Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge moved to Riversands Commercial Park in Fourways. It is a new view for this race and a total new route for cyclists.

On Sunday, November 16 approximately 33 000 cyclists took part in the cycle challenge.
It was overcast in the morning, but later on it became hotter.

The cyclists started in different time slots throughtout the morning.
Marianne Vos from the Netherlands and Till Drobisch of Namibia became the first winners of the new look route.

Many cyclists said that the new route was tough and involved lots of climbing.
