Local riders struts their stuff
The regionals held at Red Star Raceway last weekend saw a lot of riders from eMalahleni in the top three positions.
The race was held on Saturday, September 6.
Johan van der Merwe came second in the Breakfast Club A Division.
In the Breakfast Club C Division it was Neil Turpin who came in third.
Tyla Farinha won the Breakfast Club Ladies Division first race, but did not compete in the second race. She finished seventh in the Formal Extreme Division.
Two local riders also took up third and fourth place in the Masters Overall 35 to 45 Years Division. Gary Brown finished third and Roger Taylor fourth.
Stoffies Stofberg ended in fourth position in Masters Overall 45 + Division.
Next on the raceway’s calendar is an eight hour endurance race taking place on October 11.
