Tendai Ndoro now cleared to play

AmaZayoni’s fanatic supporters should be pleased to hear that ace striker, Tendai Ndoro, is finally ready to make his Black Aces debut after his international transfer clearance was finalised recently.

Aces website reported on Monday, January 6 that Ndoro has been cleared to play.

The 25-year-old signed for Aces back in August after the Zimbabwean impressed, during his two-week assessment by head coach Clive Barker, and could pull on the famous Blue and White of AmaZayoni when Moroka Swallows visit at Mbombela Stadium on February 6 for a crunch Absa Premiership encounter.

The talented Zimbabwean international, who topped the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League with 18 league goals last season, to capture the eyes of the AmaZayoni technical department, has all his paperwork finalised and is ready to be registered. Ndoro could forge a deadly strike force partnership with Mabhudi Khenyeza, who has already scored two league goals this season.

Ndoro put pen to paper on a two-year contract at the beginning of the season but, due to some technicalities with his clearance from his club Chicken Inn and his signature falling outside of the September 31, South African transfer window period, the deadly forward could not be registered with the PSL. As a result, he was loaned back to Chicken Inn to keep fit with the Gamecocks.

Following the conclusion of the Zimbabwe PSL season late last year, Aces flew him down to South Africa again and he has been training with the squad ever since, banging in an avalanche of goals during friendly matches.

Ndoro is a regular feature in Ian Gorowa’s Warriors’ squad and his acquisition will surely help the team’s goal scoring challenges and relieve the pressure off Khenyeza, Aleni Lebyane, Donovan Thompson, Clifford Mulenga and Esau Mtsweni in the Aces’ striking department
