Just a few months ago Audi launched it all new flagship SUV, the Q7 to the international media. The Q3 has been given a refreshed update to keep it in line with the new Q7. We have the details here.
There have been a number of changes made to the Q3, although some are more skin deep than others.
The front bumper has also been given a refresh and the biggest and most noticeable change has to be the front grille. Visually, the new model offers a more daring interpretation of Audi’s single-frame grille, with the upper border connecting the headlights as seen on the new Q7. From the sides, the Q3 remains the same except for newly designed wheels. The changes are more striking in the rear with the taillights sporting a new visual signature that naturally includes LED technology. The rear bumper boasts new lines.
There have been minimal changes inside the 2016 Audi Q3. The dashboard retains an uncluttered layout which is nice. A keen eye will notice the silver-coloured buttons and a couple of new finishes, but other than that, it’s business as usual. The equipment list will include items such as the MMI Plus, Audi Drive Select, blind spot alert, power adjustable front seats, LED ambient lighting, secondary collision brake assist, lane departure warning, etc.
The 2016 Audi Q3 will be available with three TFSI and three TDI four-cylinder engines. All of these engines are said to be turbocharged and will discharge up to 17 percent less CO2 than before. These Euro 6-compliant units will range from 1.4 to 2.0 litres producing between 88kW and 162kW.
