NOTICE OF AIR EMISSION RENEWAL APPLICATION BY TLOWANA RESOURCES FOR REFERENCE NUMBER

Notice is hereby given that Tlowana Resources intends to apply for the renewal of Air Emission License (AEL) No: NDM/AEL/MP312/02/2021/C, to the Nkangala District Municipality before the end of September 2024 in terms of section 44 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act -NEM: AQA 2004 (Act 39 of 2004) (NEM:AQA) , which states; “` the holder of a license must before the expiry date of the license apply renewal of the license to the licencing authority an application in the form required by the licencing authority`. Tlowana Resources herewith notifies the relevant organs of state, interested persons and the public in terms Section 38(3) of the NEM: AQA, that the AEL Renewal application will be submitted for to the Nkangala District Municipality. Location of facility: Highveld Industrial Park, Elandsfontein 309-JS, R104, Emalahleni The AEL renewal ensures that extension of the validity of the license, ensuring that Tlowana Resources can continue to operate this plant legally.
This license enables the plant to proceed to legally conduct the following listed activities according to the amended Minimum Emission Standards (GN893 in GG 37054 of
22 November 2013):
Category 5: Mineral Processing, Storage and Handling

All persons who wish to register as an interested and affected party or comments on the renewal application must send written notice within 30 days of publication of this advert to the below email address.
