TUT students of eMalahleni protest on issues which they say affect progress in the institution

The protest is currently underway at the campus, and road users are advised to make use of alternative routes.

Students from the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Emalahleni Campus commenced with protest action earlier today to raise their voice on issues which, according to students on the scene, affect progress at the institution.

According to students, some issues include the capping of accommodation fees, transportation, and modules in courses being phased out.

“Students are left with two modules on a course that is already phasing out on campus,” explained the students.

The protest is still underway at the campus, and motorists are advised to make use of alternative roads as some of the roads in the vicinity of the campus are affected.
