Repairs on Grootpan Substation power lines may be completed sooner than anticipated
Residents might have electricity restored sooner than expected.
Although there is no estimated time of restoration, the Eskom technicians are hard at work on repairing the power line’s structure that fell over on Saturday, December 3, causing power outages in Phola, Ogies, and Clewer.
The technicians have dismantled and removed most of the affected structures.
The conductors were minimally affected, meaning repairs may be completed sooner than anticipated.
Eskom urges the public to treat electricity infrastructure and supply points as live at all times.
