Klipfontein Clinic celebrate annual eight-hour facility at Ward 33

The Department of Health (DOH) Communications was arranged including invitations to traditional healers and MMC Hessie Maseko.

Klipfontein Clinic is an eight-hour facility that held its open day at Emalahleni Municipality Ward 33 on November 15.

The open day commemoration happens annually and it is compulsory as the clinic needs to regularly inform community members of the services available at their disposal.

Services rendered consist of HIV counseling and testing, mother and child health, management of chronic conditions (HIV/TB, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and congestive cardiac failure), emergency care services, youth programmes, and minor ailments plus headcount of +-150/day.

Clinic committee members planned the event including requests for refreshments from nearby shops.

Pick n Pay Hyper and other establishments provided refreshments for the community members.

The Department of Health (DOH) Communications was arranged including invitations to traditional healers and MMC Hessie Maseko.

Community members honored an invitation and came in numbers to get lifetime knowledge about primary health care services available at the clinic and their accessibility.

Giving the message of support, MMC Hessie Maseko responsible for the Health portfolio, in Emalahleni Municipality urged all to take care of themselves and utilize free health services available, because health is a lifetime investment, which must be taken care of at all times.
