Another life lost during the recent protest action in Vosman

Shops that were set alight on November 7 during protests in Vosman claimed the life of an unidentified person.

Mpumalanga Police have confirmed a body was discovered in one of the shops that were set alight last night in Vosman.

The body that was found inside one of the shops at the Pick n Pay Centre was burnt beyond recognition.

“We cannot confirm whether the body is male or female at this stage,” said Mpumalanga Police spokesperson, Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.

This brings the death toll to two.

Earlier on Monday, November 7 a 50-year-old woman was allegedly shot and killed in her home.

Circumstances surrounding her death could not be confirmed yet.
