Woman suffering from unknown disease seek assistance

An unknown disease has plagued Ms Mbhembe’s life for years and continues to do so.

A mother of four in Empumelelweni is at a loss for what to do about an unknown long-term illness that isn’t just sickness, but hurts her life.

Ms Kholiwe Mbhembe, 33, has spent much of her life visiting healthcare facilities, enduring countless procedures and even surgery in the quest for answers to her unknown disease.

“When I went to the hospital, the doctors never mentioned what kind of sickness I had, only that it was outside and didn’t affect anyone because I have four children who are not affected,” said Ms Mbhembe.

It didn’t end with her getting up and down looking for help for the unknown disease that attacked her at a young age, as it now impacts her daily life and makes her life far too complicated.

“I wasn’t born like this, as my mother said that when I was five, I was attacked with this sickness, and she went to the nearest clinic for help, but she didn’t think it was a big deal.”

She recalls having surgery on her leg for this illness, but only on a portion of it because the other parts were said to be too close to the muscles.

The woman’s problems worsen by the day.

She asserted that the boils continue to grow and harm her well-being, causing her to lose self-esteem.

“They don’t give me peace in my life, and it influences me very badly. I have been taking medication for this, but it doesn’t help.”

Her difficulties do not end with sickness; she is unemployed and unable to work as she believes it is due to her physical appearance, making it difficult for her and her children to survive.

She is a Swazi national with children with a citizen father, but she cannot obtain a birth certificate for her children to attend school.

“I desperately need assistance. I’ll be happy if I can get help and heal”.

If you want to help the lady with her illness, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Thokozani Mabuza at 064 727 3882.
