Rising star Sgivorr Rsa has released his debut EP, ‘Sey’shubile’

Sgivorr Rsa stated that this EP depicts his path, and he hopes it inspires others to pursue their aspirations.

Rising star Sgivorr Rsa is taking the music industry by storm with his unique blend of Amapiano rhythms and captivating lyrics.

Given Maeba (20), is known by his stage name Sgivorr Rsa.

His journey to stardom began in 2020, inspired by the likes of the late Mongezi Stuurman, known professionally as Mpura, who was a rapper.

“I was stuck at home during the lockdown, and that’s when I discovered my passion for music,” Sgivorr Rsa, said. “Mongezi’s energy and creativity sparked something in me, and I knew I had to pursue my dreams.”

Sgivorr Rsa’s big break came in 2021 when he collaborated with local artists on the viral hit ‘Nomalanga,’ the first Amapiano song to gain widespread recognition in Mpumalanga.

“Working with other artists on ‘Nomalanga’ was an incredible experience,” he said.

 

“It showed me the power of collaboration and the impact our music can have on people.”

In 2022, Sgivorr Rsa teamed up with producer Mos Tee Anunnaki, resulting in a string of chart-topping hits, including Main Switch, Casablanca, Lento, and Lomtwana.

“Mos Tee Anunnak has been instrumental in shaping my sound, he said.

 

“Together, we’ve created something special, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share our music with the world.”

On September 20, Sgivorr Rsa released his highly anticipated EP ‘Sey’shubile’.

The EP is already generating buzz, with two singles, uMageba and Indlela, topping the charts on local radio stations.

“I’m overwhelmed by the support,” he expressed. “This EP reflects my journey, and I hope it inspires others to chase their dreams.”
