HTS Witbank 1 dominated two recent cricket matches against Hoërskool Generaal Hertzog (HGH) 2 and WH de Klerk.
On Tuesday, September 10, HTSW defeated HGH 2 by 41-10 in 10 overs. In response, HTSW scored 46-0 in just two overs, winning by 10 wickets.
Danika Gloy was the star, player, taking six wickets and scoring 38 runs off 13 balls. Zonika Pretorius also contributed with three wickets.
On Wednesday, September 11, HTSW faced WH de Klerk and scored 159-6 in 20 overs. WH de Klerk struggled to respond, managing only 2-10 in nine overs.
HTSW won the match by 132 runs, with Zunica van der Merwe top-scoring with 76 runs. Danika Gloy continued her excellent form, taking seven wickets, while Zonika and Tazmin Coetzee took one and two wickets, respectively.
