Little Miss Township South Africa title comes to eMalahleni.

Bontle was crowned Little Miss Township in Pretoria on Saturday, September 7.

Bontle Litheko (10) recently scooped the title and was crowned Little Miss Township South Africa 2025.

The young beauty hails from eMalahleni and represented the City of Coal at the Little Miss Township South Africa.

This beauty pageant competition was held at Pretoria State Theatre on Saturday, September 7.

“I submitted my entry video late last year and was accepted. The journey officially began around February when I received my sash, I was so excited,” Bontle remembered.

She shared that her journey was a walk in the park at early onset, and although the going got tough as she progressed from semi-finalist to finalist stage.

“I had to continue nonetheless,” Bontle said.

Bontle started modeling at just six years old and has never looked back since.

“I’m currently doing Grade 5 at Laerskool Reynorif. I did my first pageant called Miss Summer Splash and I got the title. The other competition I did was Little Miss Witbank in 2021, and I also won it,” Bontle said.

In an exclusive interview with WITBANK NEWS, the bubbly girl shared that throughout the pageant she has had an opportunity to get involved with different projects such as donating sanitary towels and some pre-loved clothes at an orphanage center, Highveld House, and Springvalley Informal Settlement.

An interesting fun fact about Bontle is that she takes after her mom and coach Wandile Litheko, Mrs Universe Africa first runner-up 2022.

Wandile started by thanking her husband, Setlhatlhole Litheko, for supporting their daughter in the final stages of her competition.

Wandile is preparing to welcome the newest member of the Litheko family.

“The most challenging thing was not being present at the finale, because I am always with her whenever she competes. I had to ensure that she’s mentally prepared for the pageant week and for the grand finale,” Wandile shared.

She ended by saying that seeing her daughter juggling school, extracurricular activities, and the pageant was a bit strenuous.

“however she learned the art of discipline and focus and I believe she will take these forward with her in life,” Wandile ended.
