Bikers pray for eMalahleni on Sunday

Crosses will be planted at the seven entrances into eMalahleni.

Bikers are looking forward to starting their bikes and revving them up against crime, violence, and corruption.

This forms part of the Jericho ride on Sunday, July 21.
Bikers will get together on the Witbank High School sports ground at about 11:00, introductions will be made at 13:00, and a short word will be given by Pastor Jeremiah Zulu and Pastor Jurgens le Roux.

“We will then leave in groups at 14:30 and go to the seven entrances of our town, where at 15:00 we will plant a cross and pray against crime, violence, and corruption,” said Johan Nell from the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA).

The Witbank and African Biking Councils, as well as the CPF, will be represented. The host of the day is the CMA.

The Jericho ride is a ride for the whole community and is a ride like no other. It is a ride that was founded in America and has since gained great popularity in South Africa.

In South Africa, the Guardian Angels started the ride back in 2009.
After Covid-19, it ceased, but the organisers feel it is time to start again and make it a yearly event.

Food and coffee stalls are available for the purchase of refreshments.
