The accident on the N4 highway last week is still under investigation

Traffic officials are urging drivers to exercise caution and to report any incidents of reckless driving

Truck lost control and crashed into two stationary vehicles on the N4 highway, causing significant damage and injuring two people.

The accident occurred on Tuesday, June 4, at approximately 14:15, just after the Ferrobank turn-off.

According to the report, the truck driver claimed that two other vehicles cut him off, forcing him to swerve into the yellow lane, where the stationary vehicles were parked. However, traffic officials believe that the truck lost control before colliding with the vehicles.

The two occupants of the vehicles, a black BMW and a white Nissan NP200, were outside their vehicles at the time of the crash, but still sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital by Langamed Emergency Management paramedics. The truck driver was unharmed, but his vehicle suffered damage to the front left and front left wheel.

The accident caused significant debris on the road, and emergency services, traffic officials, and tow trucks were called to the scene. One lane of the highway was closed, causing delays for the motorists.

Traffic officials are urging drivers to exercise caution and to report any incidents of reckless driving.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
