Beauty for Ashes Women’s Breakfast

Guest speaker, Laetitia Tollig encouraged the ladies at NLC womens breakfast to rise out of their ashes

Many beautiful Christian ladies from eMalahleni and surrounds gathered at the New Life Church for the Beauty for Ashes Women’s Breakfast, where the theme was based on the bible verse in Isaiah 61:3 – “to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.”

Bright and early in the morning of Saturday, May 11, at 08:30 the ladies gathered for a morning filled with heart-warming fellowship, delicious food, and contagious laughter.

The event was put together by the Soul Sisters team.

Ladies excited for the day.

The Soul Sisters Ministry is a vibrant community of New Life Church women dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and fellowship among Christian women.

Their ministry’s mission is to empower and uplift women in their personal and faith journeys.

The guest speaker, Laetitia Tollig encouraged the ladies to rise out of their ashes and see the beauty the Lord has prepared for them in their lives and to embrace and celebrate it.

It was a beautiful reminder to all the ladies that even among the ashes of destruction in their lives, the Lord will still place beautiful things for them to focus on and celebrate.

“How refreshing to start the day with nourishing soul food, encountering the divine, and receiving a timely word,” said event organiser, Jessica Betsva from Soul Sisters.
