Two rushed to hospital after shooting in Siyanqoba

One of the policemen and a young man sustained injuries during the shooting.

Two policemen and two civilians were shot at during a drive-by shooting last week.

This incident on Thursday, February 22, happened just after midnight while the four were sitting outside a house in the informal settlement.

The one policeman and the 22-year-old man were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police have since launched an investigation of two counts of attempted murder.Police call on community members who might assist with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects to please call the investigation officer, Sergeant Kgotso Mojahi, on 068 669 4260 Crime Stop number on 08600 10111. Alternatively, community members may send information via MYSAPSAPP.
