Police have confirmed that Phineas Matsomagae Phaho, a 40-year-old assistant train driver who went missing last December, was found dead at a mortuary in Gauteng.
Phaho, last seen driving a grey Polo with registration KRV 425MP, had heightened concerns when the vehicle was found at Katlehong Hostel.
Despite weeks of extensive search efforts, the outcome is now confirmed as a somber one.
