Power outages to blame for water supply issues in eMalahleni
The water supply is currently affected to the reservoirs due to no pumping at Point D.
The Emalahleni Local Municipality has issued a notice on social media, that serves as an update on the continuous water crisis faced by the city.
The statement reads as follows:
Please note that the water supply is affected by the power supply outage affecting Grobler substation.
No water purification could be done at the Water Treatment Plant due to the electricity supply outage.
Eskom and municipal technicians are working on resolving the problem at Grobler substation.
The water supply is currently affected to the reservoirs due to no pumping at Point D.
