No water in the taps, but the dam is full

The dam stays above 90% full.

Despite the good rain and with a bitter taste in the mouth, residents are still urged to continue using water wisely and sparingly.

The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) said the water levels continue to drop in the Mpumalanga Province.

“DWS also reminds the public that South Africa is a water scarce country therefore water security is everybody’s business as water has no substitute.,” said Mr Themba Khoza from DWS.
