Victim assaulted by three suspects pretending to be police officers

It is alleged that the victim was assaulted by the suspects before they stole numerous household items.

Witbank Police are looking for three suspects who allegedly posed as policemen in Klarinet.

According to the report, the victim (42) was at his home on Grey Heron Street when he heard a knock on the door at around 07:40 on Thursday, January 11.

It is said that when he opened the door, he saw three male suspects wearing police vests who threatened him with a firearm.

The suspects allegedly assaulted the victim before stealing two cellphones, and store keys and later fled the scene.
