Saders ready for next season

Kriel Saders can look back on this year and smile.

They have done exceptionally well this season.
The rugby club from Ga-Nala hosted their annual prize-giving on Saturday, December 16.

“We congratulated all our players and our management team for their hard work and dedication throughout the 2023 season,” said Estiaan Pretorius from the Saders.

“Well done to all of you that reaped up the awards. It goes to show that with hard work and sacrifice you will reap the benefits.”

The players that received special awards are:
Player of the year: KG Katlego Cat
Forward Player of the Year: Conrad Rossouw
Backline Player of the Year: Pieter la Grange
Slaghuis Award: Macbeth Mpofu
Best commitment: Dehann Jordaan
Upcoming player: Uleko Leggo
Points scorer: Siyabonga Mazibuko

Best try 2023: Moshe Lentoro
Goose of the Year: Jaun Pretorius
Sader of the Year: Johan Olivier
Best Tackler of 2023: Pierre van Zyl
Game Saver of the Year: Leon van den Berg
Beste gees: Wayne de Waal

Committee member of the year: Nicky Potas
Supporter of the Year: Leon van den Berg
Bus driver award: Samukele Mpontshane
Barman of the Year: Werner Maré

“Thank you to all of you who have made 2023 a year to remember. Let’s start building the road to the final for 2024,” Estiaan said.
