Toyota Hilux reported stolen in Klarinet was recovered in Nelspruit

The victim said that he was informed by the tracking company that his vehicle had been found.

A vehicle that was reported stolen in Klarinet was recovered in Nelspruit, seemingly heading to Mozambique.

According to the victim (39), he allegedly received a call from the tracking company on Tuesday, November 14.

He was informed that the vehicle was in Belfast heading to Nelspruit on the N4. “They informed him that they have alerted both Witbank and Nelspruit Police,” the victim said.

The victim went on to say that at around 06:00 on the same day, the tracking company informed him that his bakkie was recovered in Nelspruit.

Police apprehended one foreign national suspect who was driving the vehicle.

The victim reckoned that, according to the information he received, the suspect was supposed to drive the car to an unsaid location in Mozambique. “The car’s interior was stripped, the number plate was changed, and the license disk was taken off,” the victim outlined.

He went on to say that he collected his bakkie on Thursday, November 16.

The Toyota Hilux was stolen in Klarinet only a day after the tracker installation on Saturday, November 11 at around 19:30

According to the victim, four unknown male suspects broke into his home and demanded the keys to all his vehicles.
