Glencore holds information session with NPOs

The purpose of the session was to bring the organisations in the communities where Glencore operates together.

Over 20 Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs) honoured the invite from Glencore Coal to a session of information sharing and engagement.

In order to assist, the institution continues to build lasting relationships with stakeholders within the communities in which it operates, the Community and Stakeholder Department hosted the Social Partners Forum.

Speaking at the event at Will Chris Estate in Ben Fleur on Thursday, October 26, the manager of the Stakeholder Relations Department, Gracious Maswanganye, said that the Social Partners Forum was established three years ago, “The aim is to bring in community organisations together so that we can work and actually share programmes and collaborate and form partnerships,” Maswanganye said.
