Unknown man dies after being struck by a truck in Ga-Nala
Kriel Police said they will probe into the matter.
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck on the R547 in Ga-Nala.
According to emergency personnel from Percival Emergency Medical Services, Percival Motloung said that he received a call notifying him of the accident next to the Kriel Mine Entrance Road, “When I arrived the victim was certified dead by paramedics, and the scene was handed over to Kriel Police.
Although the details regarding the incident are still unknown, it is believed that the male victim was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by the truck on Wednesday, October 4.
Kriel Police Constable and communications liaison officer Angel Makubu said the police are still looking into the matter.
