Two culpable homicide cases were reportedly opened at Witbank Police Station after one person allegedly died and two were seriously injured over the weekend.
The tragic car accident that led to one fatality reportedly took place on the Verena Road at around 05:45 on Saturday, September 16.
According to the female victim (38), the deceased male victim was allegedly overtaking when he collided with his Volkswagen Polo into her Jeep.
The victim, who supposedly sustained injuries, was rushed to hospital and is currently receiving medical attention.
Yet another Volkswagen Polo was in a horrific car accident on Sunday, September 17 on the Old Middelburg Road.
It is believed that the driver of the Polo supposedly lost control of his vehicle, and it overturned several times.
It is alleged that the driver sustained serious injuries.
