The chapel and venue at Indlela Country Estate demolished in fire

Firefighters are on the scene to put out the fire and stop it from spreading any further.

The chapel and hall next to the chapel at Indlela Country Estate in Del Judor 4 on Nita Street have been destroyed by a wildfire.

Firefighters from Emalahleni Fire Department, members of the fire unit from the South African Community Crime Watch are currently on the scene to put out the fire and stop it from spreading to the restaurant, lodging and other businesses inside the estate.

An out-of-control veld fire close to the estate seems to have sparked the fire.
