Porras put a ‘Spring’ in the festival

The Portuguese Club's president, Paul Manarte showed a lot of spirit when he was pied during the Spring Festa.

The Portuguese Spring Festa was great fun and the president of the Portuguese Club got pied.

The wonderful day, relaxing with friends, enjoying traditional Portuguese cuisine, and the carnival games provided the cornerstone for the success of the day.

And of course the main attraction of the day, the president of the Portuguese Club, Paul Manarte getting pied.

Paul deserves a standing ovation for his sportsmanship as he could only smile with one bowl of shaving cream after the other was thrown at him.

“Thank you to the community who came out to support us. Thank you to the exhibitors who played a vital part in the success of the day. We had so much fun,” Paul said.

“This was a day one can look back onto and say, ‘It turned out to be a great day’. The Portuguese Spring Festa is always a winner,” said Kyle Erasmus who also popped around for some good Portuguese food.
