Robbers cover victim with a blanket while robbing her home in Klarinet

Although the assailants left the home with valuables, luckily the victim was unharmed, but shaken up.

Two house robberies have been reported over the weekend.

In both instances, the robbers entered without hesitation and caught the homeowners off-guard in the early morning hours while fast asleep.

Both robberies took place in Klarinet on August 13. The robbers were also in possession of firearms.

During the first incident, the resident was fast asleep when she was awakened by a hard banging noise on her front door. The victim who wants to remain anonymous said she had no time to react as everything happened very fast.

“Three men kicked down my door and entered, threatening me. I feared for my life because they had guns.”

The victim also said that one of the robbers ordered her to lie on the bed. The robbers then covered the victim with a blanket.

Although the assailants left the home with valuables, luckily the victim was unharmed, but shaken up. The victim could not help identify the robbers as their faces were covered.

The robbers got away with clothes, a cellphone, and a television set.

Investigations are still ongoing, and no arrests have been made.

In the second instance, also on August 13, at 02:00 in the morning, the victim was awakened by loud noises coming from inside his home. The resident said that the noise that startled him came from the kitchen door.

The victim also recalled that before he had time to react, two unknown males already gained access. One of the robbers had a firearm.

The robbers allegedly demanded money from the victim, but he had none to give. The robbers then proceeded to unplug the television and fled with it on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.
