Kriel Police and Ga-Nala Women Structure hand over essentials for Mandela Day

Ga-Nala Women Structure donates to Merlin Park Primary School for Mandela Day.

The Ga-Nala Women Structure in conjunction with Kriel Police together with sponsors celebrated Mandela Day at Merlin Park Primary School.

Sanitary hygiene products, school uniforms, and school shoes were donated to the learners at the school.

Communications Official for Kriel Police Constable Angel Makubu educated learners on the crimes that affect them and how to report such crimes to the police.

Exxaro Coal Mine donated 150 school bags with 150 pencil stationery.

She further informed them about the dangers of using drugs and carrying dangerous weapons.

Makubu assured the learners that the police would protect and make the school a safe and secure environment for the children to make learning and teaching easy.

She also encouraged learners to stop bullying.

Ga-Nala Women Structure partnered with stakeholders and donated 160 pairs of school shoes, Exxaro Coal Mine donated 150 school bags with 150 pencil stationery, and Kriel Police and Ga-Nala Women Structure donated 150 sanitary hygiene products.

 

Chairperson of the women’s structure, Elizabeth Selepe expressed her gratitude to the stakeholders and said the handover was a success, “We would not have done it without you, our sponsors. We appreciate that when we knock on your doors; you don’t shut us out, but extend your hands. May God richly bless you and enlarge your territories,” the chairperson ended.
