‘Customer’ now suspect in a robbery at petrol station
It was apparently too easy robbing the shop of its money.
One business robbery have taken place where a robber easily helped himself to money and left without a trace.
In both cases, robbers were armed and got away with cash and other items.
A petrol station in Walter Sisulu Street was targeted by a ‘customer’ who purchased R12 airtime that same day.

The shop attendant said that she was busy helping other customers in the shop and noticed the man from earlier that day.
On July 5 at around 18:00 the customer returned to the shop and took out a firearm demanding cash.
The robber then fled with cash. Investigations are still ongoing and the suspect is unknown.
