Two suspects nab for drug dealing in Phola

Phola SAPS is taking a stand against drugs.

Phola Police Vispol members arrested two male suspects aged 27 and 28 in one day for drug dealing in Siyabonga, Phola,

According to the report issued by Phola Police Communications Official Sergeant Thabang Petros Ntuli on Monday, July 3, members were officially on duty when they received information about a shack situated in Siyabonga where drugs are being sold.

At about 05:15 vispol members responded to the tip-off information which then led them to the supposed location.

“Police vispol members found a 27-year-old man with drugs in possession of 28 straws of Heroine, 13 pokes of Dagga, and cash estimated to the value of R1770-00,” Sergeant Ntuli outlined.

Ntuli went on to say that the man was thus arrested and charged with dealing with drugs. The suspect was allegedly detained at Phola police Station and he appeared before the Ogies Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 4.

On Monday, July 3 the two vispol members who had arrested the drug dealer, received information from the suspect who confessed to them his drug supplier.

Therefore it is believed the members followed up the information which led them to the supposed arrest of a 28-year-old man for the distribution of drugs at New Stand in Phola.
